From the  sugar mill San Rafael de Pucte, located in Quintana Roo state, was received last days the first load of sugar in  super sacks of 1.5 ton, to begin the collection of bulk, by the Port of Coatzacoalcos.


Industrial reactor arrives to the port of Coatzacoalcos

From the Port of Avilés, Spain, the dutch flagged "B/M Happy River" arrived this January 11th to the Port of Coatzacoalcos, to discharge 280 tons of equipment and parts, among which there is a reactor of 207 tons and 65 mts. long. The unloading of the heavy equipment was conducted by the Cooperative Society of Stevedores, one of the local manoeuvre companies.

Annual Protection Practice of Coatzacoalcos Port

Sea bridge established at Coatzacoalcos - Veracruz



October 13th, 2010.

CWith 200 containers on board, the vessel MV "Industrial Achiever" arrives today to the port of Coatzacoalcos, with this arrival starts a sea bridge to the Port of Veracruz.


The Port of Coatzacoalcos present in Expo Carga 2010

From June 8 to 10 the first edition of Expo Freight was held at the WTC Mexico City, an specialized event in the freight transport sector, where they met the main national and international logistics players.


Port of Coatzacoalcos increases the agricultural bulk cargo


Until August, the port has operated 433,126 tons of agricultural bulk, representing a growth of 11.9% over the previous year. Products handled during this period are: corn, dry distilled grain (DDG), sorghum, soybean, wheat, sugar and rice.


Infrastructure Development in Laguna de Pajaritos

During the 2009 last quarter, Coatzacoalcos Port began with a new infrastructure development at Laguna de Pajaritos Port, which consists on a first stage to build a 75 meters length module of the marginal wharf for berthing Post - Panamax vessels.

The Port Authority of Coatzacoalcos in coordination with the H. Hall, began construction of two storm drains at Transístmica and Colegio militar streets at “Colonia Esfuerzo de los Hermanos del Trabajo”, just front to the “Portada Norte del Recinto Portuario”.


2009 Achievements

Despite a difficult global economic situation, Coatzacoalcos Port operated 5.4 millions Mtons of commercial cargo in 2009, which was only 6.6% less than the amount operated in 2008. Export of beer through the rail ferry service and import of phosphate rock for industrial processes were the most representative cargo with the main decrease in freight movement.


From the port of Coatzacoalcos, Mexico continues supporting Haiti

All companies that make up the community of Port of Coatzacoalcos, coordinated by the Navy Department, have worked hard to fulfill the mission to send to Haiti, humanitarian aid collected in our country, as a support after the strong earthquake occurred in the January.
