Rail equipment for the Mayan Train arrives at the Port of Coatzacoalcos

Yesterday afternoon, the M / M UNIVISION from Mombasa, Kenya arrived at the cabotage dock of the Port of Coatzacoalcos; to disembark a batch made up of 8 locomotives, 28 gondolas, crane equipment, generators and accessories weighing 2,542,960 tons.
This equipment represents a temporary importation and will be used in the construction works of section 1, which includes Palenque, Tab.-Escárcega, Cam; as part of the Mayan Train project.
The disembarkation of the units includes a brief stay in the port; in an area within 170,000m2 for the storage of various cargoes in transit.
To the above, Grupo Logra, a multimodal company specialized in the management of industrial equipment, is the logistics operator in charge of the maneuver.
