Port of Coatzacoalcos, participates in important oil Forum

Under the 4th Forum Oil 2015, organized by the Employers Confederation of the Mexican Republic (COPARMEX), the General Coordination of Ports and Merchant Marine, represented by Federal Ports of Dos Bocas, Salina Cruz and Coatzacoalcos, which grouped promoted growth plans and competitive advantages corresponding to their areas of influence, from 02 to 05 November in the city of Villahermosa, Tabasco.
In the opening ceremony of this important event, which brings together the best of the oil and energy sector, Hector Dagdug Rangel, President of the Coparmex, addressed a message of welcome to the important personalities in the industry, authorities, businessmen and audience.
Ovidio Noval Nicolau, Director General of the Port Authority of Coatzacoalcos, unveiled the comparative and competitive port advantages on the first day of activities, highlighting its location on the Gulf of Mexico which allows to join the port in a short distance with the Pacific Ocean, this as a fundamental part of the beginning of the Interoceanic Corridor project, closely linked with the strategy of the Federal Government on the announcement of a reform to create special economic zones and thus boost growth in the states with the greatest social backwardness.
Informed too that Coatzacoalcos has adequate infrastructure for the great works that are covered by oil and energy matters, because here are the main industrial cluster of Mexico, as evidenced of that is the Ethylene XXI project, with more than 5 billion dollars investment the largest in the country.
Thus, the Port of Coatzacoalcos ... Mexico's leader in total cargo, is projected as an excellent alternative to the different productive sectors.
