The Port of Coatzacoalcos, participates in the 2nd Forum Port Finance International Mexico 2015

This Port Authority, participated actively in this important international forum, which was held on 16 and 17 June in the Asturian Center Polanco in Mexico City. This event brought together the main players in the sector, in turn became a meeting point to navigate to different areas for improvement and created opportunities for national and international investors.
The keynote address was given by Lic. Guillermo Deister, Head of the Strategic Planning Unit Maritime-Port of the General Coordination of Ports and Merchant Marine, was accompanied by Arq. Fernando Gamboa, Director General of Promotion and Port Administration, also Dr. Ovidio Noval Nicolau, Director General of the Port Authority of Coatzacoalcos was present; the latter in conjunction with Lic. Angel Perez Cantú, Director General of the Port Authority of Salina Cruz, presented within the conference program theme "Mega Trans-Isthmus Corridor Project in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec".
The event was also attended by representatives of the ports of Veracruz, Manzanillo, Chiapas, Lazaro Cardenas and Tamaulipas, federal authorities and CEO's of different companies, who integrated workshops with different topics such as:
° Understand in depth the economic outlook port transport market.
° Check the developments and opportunities in Mexican ports.
° Discuss the challenges and options for investing in infrastructure.
° Exchange points of view on the impact of reform on the energy sector.
