The Port Authority of Coatzacoalcos, in compliance with the strategic objectives of the Quality Management System and Environmental (SGCA), is certified in Management Systems ISO-9001 and ISO-14001.
Notably, at the initiative of the General Coordination of Ports and Merchant Marine, Federal API's started last year in November, the implementation of Safety Management System and Occupational Health, OHSAS 18001: 2007.
OHSAS 18001: 2007 ranges from top management down to the last level of the organization, manages the health and safety risks are identified, monitored and evaluated to improve the performance of programs, processes and procedures that impact on safety and health at work.

1. Hazard identification and risk assessment.
2. Legal requirements.
3. Quality policy, environmental and health and safety at work.
4. Competence, training and awareness.
5. Communication, participation and consultation.

To that end, this entity was visited by Ing. Francisco Blanco Palma, the Calinter Group, which conducted an awareness talk with all the staff and the training of internal auditors in this statement.
