Port of Coatzacoalcos, presents attractive projects for this 2015

In a workshop, Dr. Ovidio Noval Nicolau, Director General of the Port Authority of Coatzacoalcos, presented the projects of the organization for this year, to partners of the Mexican Chamber of Construction Industry (CMIC) Delegation Veracruz South.

Dr. Noval, announced an investment of nearly 300 million pesos for the maintenance of infrastructure mainly in the new "Pajaritos" spring, which will have a boom due to Pemex projects and private initiative.

He said the aim this year is to increase income from savings in current expenditure in the dredging; on the other hand, lower spending so that we have more equity for major works such as development of dock Laguna de Pajaritos, which is going to have a significant investments to make it optimal, starting with their driveways, maneuvering area quay extension 400 meters, construction of two wineries which have a high demand, container yard and other works as part of the strategy for the proper motion of the charges generated in the industry as ethylene production.

The event was attended by Ing. Alfredo Hernández López, Engineering Manager of API Coatzacoalcos, Ing. Víctor Manuel Joe Prado, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the Port of Coatzacoalcos and hosted by Ing. Antonio Pablo Bustos Peter, Chairman of CMIC Delegation South Veracruz.

Thus the Port of Coatzacoalcos, increases its port infrastructure and also turn aids to the growth of construction companies in the southern region.
