The Directorate General of Merchant Navy and US Coast Guard meet in Coatzacoalcos

As part of the security strategy in Federal Ports of the country, a meeting with the aim of exchanging experiences to improve the security of port facilities, in compliance with the ISPS Code was conducted.
This meeting was held in the boardroom of this entity and had the presence of Captain Manuel Fernando Gutiérrez Gallardo, Director of Maritime and Port of the Directorate General of Merchant Marine, Lieutenant Commander Chris Keene, Captain Brent Bergan the US Coast Guard, Port Authorities and Assigns. One of the main features to Coatzacoalcos was regarded as spearheading this important project, is its connectivity with more than 30 ports worldwide, plus handling goods as agricultural bulk, bulk minerals, fluids, containers, wind pieces as located as a safe and reliable port.
