Guillermo Ruiz de Teresa, opens port infrastructure works in Coatzacoalcos

Guillermo Ruiz de Teresa, General Coordinator of Ports and Merchant Marine, visited today the Port of Coatzacoalcos on the occasion of inaugurating port works, for a total investment of 70 million pesos expanding parking trailers were built, paving Industrial adocreto to dock with and adequacy of the floating dock at Laguna de Pajaritos, winery building 7, the maintenance and strengthening of wineries 4, 5 and 6, plus the checkered flag to start work was done for the next building construction the Port.

Fernández Monforte, Vice Admiral Commander of the Naval Sector; William David Knight Bonifacio, Director General of the Centre SCT Veracruz, Angelica Morales Lobato, Administrator of the Customs Coatzacoalcos, assigees of the port, service providers and representatives of the media and others.
The official reported that the Federal Government invests, without precedent, more than 1,000 million in the country's ports, they represent up to 75 percent more than the annual average of the past decade.
Also commented that Coatzacoalcos has to strengthen its geographical position, since it has the shortest road distance between the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean about 303 miles away, allowing the investment of over one thousand 200 million pesos in works that project and now as a highly competitive oil and agribusiness port, as now for their cargo volumes is third nationally.
