Port helmsman, makes significant investment

The Union of Workers, Dockers, Chargers, Openers, Checkers, Binders, and Laborers, SCL Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, continues with the acquisition of new equipment, in order to automate the movement of loading and unloading of the various goods they handle.
In past months Armando Ramos Beltran, representative of the Union of Workers, reported a strategy to improve their services which included the purchase of four automated "clams", these three multipurpose forklift added with capacity of 5000 pounds, which will be used to move bulk sugar in "super sacks" with approximately one ton weight, they also will be used for stowage of palletized cargo.
Beltran Ramos, said that during the year 2013 the guild adopted in plenary, the purchase of two mobile tracks, with a value one million 161 thousand 906 pesos. This investment is reflected in a positive performance in the drag of cars through the port, speeding such streamlining operations.
