Working tour over the industrial area of the Port of Coatzacoalcos

On a working tour by the Pajaritos petrochemical complex this afternoon, Pedro Joaquín Coldwell, Secretary of Energy, together with Enrique Martinez y Martinez, Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food; Emilio Lozoya Austin, Director General of Pemex; Guillermo Ruiz de Teresa, General Coordinator of Ports and Merchant Marine among others, started the rehabilitation works of a plant for the generation of fertilizers that will be operated by the company Proagroindustrias, S.A. de C.V.

Furthermore, launched a 20-inch pipeline that will lead gasoline from marine terminal Pajaritos to the port of Salina Cruz, Oaxaca. It also took place the flag of the two new tank ships Kukulcan and Calakmul, both will be used for transporting oil through the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean, all thhis on conmemoration of the 76th anniversary of Petroleos Mexicanos.

Such investments are intended to create certainty in the domestic and foreign investors and also setup new business lines that contribute to the development of the south-southeast of Mexico.
