Port of Coatzacoalcos, improves its services

With the acquisition of four "automated clams" with 6 tons of load capacity each, the Union of Workers, Dockers, Chargers, Openers, Checkers, Binders and Laborers of Coatzacoalcos Veracruz, renews its loading and unloading equipment for mineral and agricultural bulk.

As part of its operational strategy and in order to improve the services they provide to their clients, the Union of Workers make changes to its inventory and modernizes itself. Also in the near future an investment in heavy machinery such as forklifts and payloaders is expected, as reported Armando Ramos Beltran, Union representative.
The Union, is one of the stevedoring wich effectively executes loading and unloading works of different goods within the port areas of Coatzacoalcos and Laguna Pajaritos, and has a staff of 79 active members; and it is expected that this year will generate up to 1,200 temporary jobs.
With such actions API Coatzacoalcos, "Leader of Mexico in bulk cargo", continues to enhacing the movement of goods through the port, in order to reduce their operating times.
