As part of its business strategy of the Port Authority participated in the eighteenth APPAMEX-NAEGA Forum 2011.
With the prospect "A vision on food security of mexican agribusiness" took place from 10 to 12 November in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco this important forum that brings together the most selected of the industry nationally and internationally, who through inquiry desks, debates and exhibitions met new practices that govern trade in bulk in the country, as well as the normativity of the national food chains.
Until September, the Port of Coatzacoalcos were operated 826,880 tons of agricultural bulk, ie 10% of all operated by the National Port System. So, the participation of API Coatzacoalcos in Forum NAEGA APPAMEX was essential because it presented the excellent infrastructure that counts: specialized terminals, warehouses for grain storage as well as optimum performance in maneuvers.
This way, the Port of Coatzacoalcos, Mexico's leader in bulk cargo reaffirms its position in the productive chain of the domestic food industry.
