The Port of Coatzacoalcos organizes the 8° Brigades Meeting

Like every year, the Port of Coatzacoalcos organized the 8° Brigades Meeting, where the port brigades demonstrate the techniques learned in their training program in safety and civil protection.
The event was held within the premises of the port and included the participation of eight brigades, representing firms in the port: Vopak Mexico, Bredero Shaw, Oxiteno Mexico, Celanese group, Marina Shipyard No. 3, Multiver, City Council Ferries and Group SPSP.
There were three tests: a double shooting with obstacles, fire suppression with extinguishers and rescue and packaging of an injured person. These tests were evaluated by Luis Castro Mendizabal, a representative of CLAM, Olmar Osorio, representative of the medical service of the port and Jorge Garcia Cruz, municipal fire department commander, taking into account the time, coordination, communication, obstacles advance step,reeling of watering hose, water use patterns, safety and security strategy brigade.
The award was made by the personalities who attended the event: Cap. Gilberto Corona, representative of the Captain of the Port; Captain Edgar Hunda, representative of CUMAR; Mr. Guillermo Luna Razo, Mexico Manager of Vopak Terminal, Mr. Hugo Delgado Guillén Protection Instructor and Mr. Gilberto Rios Ruiz, Director of API Coatzacoalcos, who thanked all participants for their dedication and demonstrate commitment to be prepared for a contingency.
