Once again, the Civil Protection Committee of the Port of Coatzacoalcos goes on support of the called Municipal Civil Protection body, in support of disaster caused by the impressive fire which reduced to rubble a retail store.
Moments of tension and uncertainty lived everyone yesterday, near 17:40 pm, in the west of the city by this unfortunate event, but the immediate response from the brigade and paramedics of the port was vital to prevent the fire to affect the surrounding industry.
A fire truck, a fully equipped ambulance, and two tank pipes were used to contain the flames, while the fire equipment arrived as did it the Mexican Army, CLAM, PEMEX, Red Cross and CMAS, achieving smother the flames around 22:00 hrs.
So far this year, the Committee for Protection of the Port of Coatzacoalcos has given support more than six times, highlighting their dedication and professionalism to serve the people, strengthening the bond and commitment over the city.
With this type of actions, the Port of Coatzacoalcos, Mexico's leader in bulk cargo, responds to the population in emergencies.
