Puerto Coatzacoalcos, matter of interest for world-class Korean company

The Port Authority of Coatzacoalcos, received the important visit of senior officials from LG Chem Ltd., Korean giant specialized in handling chemicals.
Entrepreneurs from the Asian firm, toured the port area of Coatzacoalcos, to know about the port infrastructure, specialized terminals, the operation in docks and semmed very interested on the available areas, in order to build a new production plant and storage fluid in the country, mentioning that they are evaluating to locate the installation between Mexico and India.
Installed in the boardroom, the Commercial Manager unveiled the plans for growth and expansion of API Coatzacoalcos and its wide area of influence, as well as projects carried out in the grounds of Laguna de Pajaritos, including the issue of special economic zones, wich would be an economic trigger for the region, because with only 302 kilometers of roads and railways the Gulf of Mexico joins the Pacific Ocean, which would mean installing a cluster, to generate great business opportunities for the entire south-southeast of the country.
LG Chem since its founding in 1947, has served as a representative of the chemical industry in Korea, which has contributed to economic emergence in the industry and technological development and constant innovation, has more than 9 production sites in Seoul and employs almost 26,000 people.
Puerto Coatzacoalcos, Mexico's leader total cargo, in coordination with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade and Supplier Development Secretary of the State Government of Veracruz, Secretary of Economy and PROMEXICO, promoting the creation of new agreements to further develop the existing activity in Coatzacoalcos.
