Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, July 5th, 2010

The Port Authority of Coatzacoalcos in coordination with the H. Hall, began construction of two storm drains at Transístmica and Colegio militar streets at "Colonia Esfuerzo de los Hermanos del Trabajo", just front to the "Portada Norte del Recinto Portuario".

This work will allow the interconnection of the storm drain system and storm drainage Municipality Port to capture and channel the water to the Coatzacoalcos river. Year after year, this area of the city adjacent to the port, presents problems of flooding due to ground conditions at the center of the city, rain water heading south to accumulate causing risk to the population.


With an investment of $ 2.5 million dollars made in full by API Coatzacoalcos, this work will be completed in September.
